Honor Band/Jazz Band KROGER Cards

The Band has been given the opportunity to take over the PTA’s Kroger Fundraising Gift Card Program this year, and the Band Board has decided to use the Kroger Gift Cards in a way to help offset the costs of the Spring Trip to Cincinnati. By using the Kroger Gift Cards, the band will earn a 5% rebate which will be put into a fund for the Spring Trip to help keep student costs lower. The only way we can try and get the trip costs lower is by using the Kroger gift cards  and earning rebates. For every $5000 reloaded on the cards the band will  receive 5% back. The gift cards can be used to purchase fuel, groceries, and  prescriptions, as well as other retail gift cards (the only exception is you  cannot use a Kroger gift card to purchase another Kroger gift card). I  personally have been using the Kroger gift card program for my youngest  daughter’s music academy and it basically pays for her tuition, and all I have  to do is buy my fuel, groceries, and retail gift cards at Kroger! This is a  very simple way to earn money for the band and the Spring trip.

“Supporters can reload their fundraising gift cards at any Kroger store and pay with cash, check, debit card or major credit card”

“Kroger gift cards can be reloaded anytime, at any Kroger store for any amount from $5 to $500.00″

“Kroger gift cards are a simple and easy way to purchase fuel and groceries at Kroger! Services excluded are defined as money orders, Western Union, lottery tickets, or postage stamps. A Kroger gift card cannot be used to purchase another Kroger gift card.”

“Supporters only have to purchase and use ONE card at a time from the fundraising coordinator. They don’t need to have constant contact with the organization to help support them.” *** see note

“Fundraisers can always find the balance on their gift card by looking at the current receipt, by visiting www.gcbalance.com
or by calling 1-866-822-6252.”

“Kroger gift cards will not expire unless there is a remaining balance of zero for 90 days or more. There is NO monthly fee.”

***NOTE: You may get as many cards as you like to give to other family members to use. Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, cousins, friends…anyone who frequents Kroger can use these gift cards.

The only thing you need to do to get started is to send in $5 for 1 card (if you  want more, then send in $5 for each card desired). Please also include YOUR  NAME AND YOUR STUDENTS NAME with the payment. I will then assign you a card/cards and return them to school for your student to take home.

Each card comes preloaded with $5 to get you started, hence the $5 upfront. All you have to do is continue to reload the card at Kroger and then use it to purchase fuel and groceries. You can still use your Kroger card to earn fuel points even while earning money for the band!
